Never heard of a lot of the cowboys either, Dick Turpins horse was Black Bess but he wasn't a cowboy.
During WWI Australian Medical Corps had a horse called Brown Bastard, was quite gentle by all accounts.

'Second Time Around' ...Western .Movie filmed in 1961 in color.... With Debbie Reynolds , Andy Griffith , Steve FOREST juliet Prowse & others.
Debbie leaves New York in 1912 and becomes an umbrella toting sheriff in Arizona. It's a 1hour 40 minute knee slapper . Saw on FX. I look for funny movies. Adam Sandler, John Candy etc. There's 100s of good simple clean fun. Except have to search for them.
I am fed up with "NEWS". If I need weather I ask Siri. When I watch TV i want to relax. No news.
I'm in Western Pa and my county has 16 confirmed cases COVD 19. Not bad numbers compared to some areas. Of course even one is bad. Bars, restaurants, gyms, casinos etc closed.
Most grocery WalMart Target & Drug stores open. gas 2.20.
We can move around as we want. Just gotta watch how close we get to others in stores. For all of our protection.

IMO...Fred Gwynne should have won an academy award for 'My Cousin Vinny'...Marissa deserved hers but Fred really shined...great cast all around...!

Did you read the book?...it was superb...it started out as a free online saga by Andy Weir that was posted by chapters and had a large following...publishers took notice and the rest is history...
