How about Papillon? I still love that movie!!! Seen it maybe 4 times, we haven’t watched it for 20 plus years, I think it’s time for another viewing

Well don't you all pee on the lemon tree ???
Great movie. Take care of that lemon tree.
No citrus in our region... too cold. Or I would!Well don't you all pee on the lemon tree ???
Nobody can eat 50 eggs."Cool Hand Luke." Best modern rendition of the Biblical New Testament.
How would you define “current”? Post-2000? Post-2010? 2020’s?I'm struggling to think of a current movie that I enjoyed. We canceled Netflix because there just wasn't anything that we rented from them that we would watch to the end. Then we started renting movies from the 40's to about the 60's and enjoyed some of them. Really liked having a plot and a story instead of special effects and never ending fight scenes.
I've been a Prime member since the service first started about 20 years ago, before they had streaming. Their streaming service got pretty good for awhile, but anymore it just seems to be a paid service that allows you to see previews of other paid services. Damn near every show or movie I want to watch on Prime anymore requires me to sign up for Paramount, Peacock, or one of a dozen other services. Useless....we signed up for the prime 30 day freebie!!!
I just canceled my free trial of Prime. (Again)I've been a Prime member since the service first started about 20 years ago, before they had streaming. Same here. Rarely is a full movie I want to watch included free. I'll sign up for Prime, if it's free or saves me $ on shipping, then cancel before renewal hits. I almost always remember, but it really annoys me that we have to dig down deep in their site, find and click a little box to have them send an email reminder before the renewal $...I keep it for the shipping, but we use it a LOT, and I often want my items same-day or next-day. But I consider the video service to be a throw-away, at this point. It's really terrible, I wouldn't recommend anyone get Prime if their goal is streaming video.
Ugh. My wife couldn't stand that movie and I thought it depressing. How about Papillon? I still love that movie!!! Seen it maybe 4 times, we haven’t watched it for 20 plus years, I think it’s time for another viewing![]()
I got rid of Prime years ago after the many price increases. There was absolutely no advantages for me to pay $150 / yr for a service that rarely gets my packages to me any quicker or cheaper.I just canceled my free trial of Prime. (Again)
Aside from the free shipping- which I can generally get anyways- it seems like any advantage has gone away. The order I placed last Monday is estimated to get here next week; 14 days minimum.
