If I had a STRONG need for some parts, it would get a $500 offer. You KNOW there was a major problem and a yahoo with a wrench tried to fix it with zero luck.

I'd say if you need a project --> run from that one!

Agreed ! I like to start on them while they at least still roll ! If they need to be split, Ill do it myself, that way I at least know what parts go where !

It looks like it snagged a truck or something solid a road speed to bend the LH wheel like it did and cracked / split the case.

These were good solid tractors and the parts are not that bad from salvage. Same parts as 574/584 IH. I think for $500-1000 more you could have a decent tractor.

If I needed one, I would take the deal but always try to get it for less as you will have to buy a new case and wheel as well as some of the internals.
