B3030
I am pleased to announce that I made the trade yesterday, dealer dropped off my new B3030 with LA403 with reinforced bucket and 3 hooks, BH75 with a single hook on the bucket, 60" mmm, 72" front blade with quick hitch, 4 work lights and loaded tires, (bagger is on back order) and took away my BX23.

I got the machine at 0.6 hours and put a whopping 0.3 hours on it yesterday! So far what else can I say but WOW. I guess I thought of it as the next size up from by BX23 but man it feels like a whole lot more.

My first obersvation is that the BH and loader are as easy or in the case of the BH easier on/off than the BX23 (my bh used to hit my fender). The jury is out on the mower, I tried just a few feet and it appeared to be OK. As for tire marks in the lawn, noticable, but not much worse than the 23, I am sure the spring will be a little tougher.

Much work to be done.

Wow, this is getting to be quite common now, BX22/BX23 to B3030. Hey Kubota, you watching this? If you wanna move those B3030's, make it worth while for the BX traders :D

Congrats AMR, I'd say besides the capacities tripleing, I bet the ride over rough ground really gets smoothed out with those bigger tires.
Let us know how she cuts.

Did the BX23 bring what you thought it would?

Boy, you have just done what I would love to do. I checked prices, in Louisiana, and the price, I was given, for my BX 23 with 433 hrs, for trade was$11,000. Which was what I talked the owner of the dearler ship into, after the first offer of $10,000. This was for trade on a B2630, with Loader and BH75, and 72inch MMM, which they priced out at $21,000.

AMR,

I'm curious about the bagger. Is it the "new" style B series bagger similar to the BX series bagger? It is my understanding that the new bagger and the backhoe share a mount point and make usage exclusive. That is, if you want to use the bagger you have to remove most, if not all, of the BH subframe components. Have you come up with a better solution?

Thanks,

Joe

Which dealer did you buy it from? Dealer in New Milford, Orange, Middletown, Torrington or Norwalk CT?

I will get pics for sure, it has been busy at work so not much seat time, plus it is bow season, had to get the first deer to relax a little!

I bought the machine from Emerich's in NY. I absolutely love those guys. I bought my BX23 from them and they gave me a great trade for the B3030, it is truly no hassle shopping. About 3 emails (and a sizeable bank check) and the machine was in my driveway.

For service Ruwit Sibley has been great. I don't know if it is them but service is pricey. I am commiting myself to doing all of my own on my B3030, it looks pretty easy, but if I do have a bigger problem I will call Ruwit.

If there is ever a real need for a dealer service with a Kubota, I recommend Woodbury Tractor, (local to you). Bob Wolfe, owner of WT services Kubota and has a good inventory of OEM Kubota parts as well. Also see Bob about a Woods back hoe for your new toy! I bought one from him for my B7800 and is great. I also had the rears filled with Rim Guard at WT, great prices.

Best wishes on the B3030 and as others said we are looking forward to the pictures.

Good tip, Woodbury Tractor, I always forget about those guys. I saw them at the Bethlehem Fair, good looking case tractors. They helped me with my bagger once, great people. I will definately use those guys. Plus I can drive my tractor right up there!

I bought the BH75 with the tractor but I am looking for an aerator to fix my squashed lawn that will happen from mowing with this monster.

I too just bought a B3030 with FEL. Since I bought the property 13 years ago, I have used an Oliver 70 with a box blade, Yanmar YM1500D with FEL, JD 301A with a grader blade, and now the B3030 with FEL. Over the years I've used these to keep our private road open and the wash clear.
I've been rather successful with these primitive machines, but now the B3030 outdoes them all! I was originally looking for a larger frame L series, but the B3030 really does the job. I am impressed!

I bought it as a rental and the dealer promised the operators manual in a couple days. It's been over 3 weeks, does anyone know of a manual available on line?

Now my only problem is to get it away from my wife, she has logged more time on it than me!

Regarding the B3030 Bagger

As I noted the bagger is due to me late this year or early next. HOWEVER, I did get a box with a bracket in it with the delivery of the machine. I opened the box last night and examined the contents, it states that it is for use with the RCK-24B bagger. This is what I can figure.

The bracket, which looks very well made, attaches to the back of the transmission housing and to the drawbar. You take two bolts out of the transmission housing immediately above the drawbar and then bolt this bracket on. You then bolt the bracket to the drawbar. It took me about 4 minutes to do this.

Included in the kit is a long bar that acts as the top link to the bagger. Without having the bagger I can't say if it is good or bad but it looks good and solid and easy to me. It is really no more trouble putting on this bracket than it was taking off the 3 PT hitch stuff from my BX23.

From the photo the BH Subframe can stay on with no problem at all.

You will need to pull this bracket off to mount a 3 PT implement or the BH, another 4 minutes.
