murph,
this is the same tractor I was pricing and discussing in the New England Boomer Prices thread. it is a TC35D with loaded R4's, quick tach bucket system, block heater, grill guard, 1 set rear remotes and canopy.

Congrats Mark, Nice looking tractor. As stated we have the same model, and you will find that the hyraulics and the loader can compete with the best of them. The best thing in my opinion is that they really sip the fuel.Hardest thing in my opinion is that it is so nice to look at that I am afraid to get it dirty- I have cleaned and touched up the bucket all every time I use it just so it looks new when I get on it the next time.
Keep us posted on your experience with it-also make sure that it warms up with a few minutes of starting-Lloyd

Lloyd,
thanks for the tips. I will keep them in mind. I need to return to the dealer today to sign paperwork and inspect 1 more time. I have made myself a check list of all the details I want to look at before I accept and sign. I mainly want to start it, run it, drive it, operate the loader through it's full range of motion and just listen for anything that might not sound right.
I will give an update this evening.
NEWS FLASH
My salesman just called me on my cell phone. They got almost everything swapped over and were preparing to deliver today. WHEN they noticed that the new tractor had a major leak under it. The details of the leak weren't given but it was stated that it wasn't an easy fix. So, they are taking Another 2003 and starting the swap all over. He said that they weren't sure if they could get it to me until after the weekend.
I said. I need this tractor by Friday !!!!!!! I have work that it needs to do. People are calling and waiting for me to get into the development and start repairing potholes. He said they are working on it and will most certainly try their darndest.
Patience is not a virtue I was ever known or claim to have.

Your old rig looks like something to be proud of, I'm sure you'll miss it. Your new one looks FANTASTC. looks like you'll really enjoy it.

I am looking at canopies, and I noticed the two styles. Do you know who makes them and any pointers? It looks as if the blue one is from Firebird, that rancar has (they claim that hump as all theirs)

Any pointers. (I know you haven't lived with the new one, yet...)

Mark, Congratulations. I must say I'm a little jealous, I have to wait a few more months before I can get mine.
Good luck

rockyridgefarm,
Yes I miss her. I only owned it for 2 years but loved every moment of it.
The label on the underside of my canopy says "Sunshade" I believe. It is made of fiberglass and seem to be very well made.

Peter,
Welcome to the TBN. Please fill out your profile so we all will know a little more about you. were all just one BIG family here.
Thanks for the kind words. I was actually going to wait until I had completely paid my JD off and then maybe wait another year before I tried to sell it. I expected to have it paid off this year and then sell / trade in 2004. Out of simple curiosity I tested the selling waters and and the JD sold immediatly, so I paid off the JD credit loan, took the balance of the $$ and put it all right down on the NH. NH interest rate at the moment are fantastic. So I have to thank the big guy upstairs for helping this whole thing to come together Long before I had planned or expected.
I had actually wanted the NH 2 years ago but there was no way could I afford the payments on it, nor could I afford enough of a down payment in order to get my payments down to an affordable range. So when I found the JD, and realized I could easily swing the payments. I figured I would use it as a steppping stone towards the NH. Fortunately, my planned actually worked.
My payments on the NH with insurance included should be within a few bucks less, of what my JD was.

Not much of a story, but here it goes. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I normally store my tractor in the shed without the FEL since it is too long to get the doors closed with the FEL attached. Well one day while tractoring, it started to rain, and being lazy thought I back the tractor into the shed as far as it will go and take off the FEL tomorrow. As I was almost completely backed in, and looking backwards, the tractor stopped & I heard a crunch. I was nice & straight, but the FEL was hard-up against the door frame on boths sides. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I scratched my head awhile. The 60" MMM fits just fine. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif So I got a measuring tape. My 60" bucket was 68", and my door is 66." /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

BigDave,
I would think that even after 3 months that your dealer would make some effort to correct this with you. Especialy if the tractor was Supposed to come with the 60" bucket.
Sorry to hear of the way you had to find out. I can relate to the head scratching ?????'s of bewilderment and probably even the sting of choice words you most likely muttered.
