I just aquired a Mott 88 finish mower myself. Mine had the cheap finish blades. Called Flail Master and got a set of the H.D. finish blades for around $350 Thats 108 nuts, bolts and D-rings, 216 clips and knives. Very happy with the results. I have my top link adjusted so the knives are about 8 inches off the ground with the roller riding the ground.
