Here is the way I've used; find the most worn engine starting, a hose from the exhaust pipe into the hole and smoke them while you seal all the holes you can see the smoke from. Works best with a diesel engine or two-stroke engine

May be depth adjustment is not needed,

but by taking your sprocket up to the pivot point on the packer drive wheel arms, and a second sprocket back to the bait box, your depth adjustment would be much easer and one could spring load the drive wheel if wanted to so it would not skip and feed more positive,

The depth adjustment is the 3/4" bolt on the swing arm (only set once). You can see the pad and gussets it rides against. No need for spring loaded it all weighs enough it's pretty uneventfull to watch in action.

No need for another jack shaft and more sprockets and chains, the hopper rides up and down with the swing arm, so the relationship does not change between the swing arm and hopper as you lift up or plow.

It is still a few months shy of two years since he has used it. He has been baiting individual places as they pop up. However it did completely knocked them out for some time.

So he has used it for less time than it took to build it but no telling how much time it saved.

My mates uncle puts diesel in the exhaust of his tractor, then revs it so the white smoke cloud gets into the mole tunnels. When they come up to breath, he beats them down with a shovel.

What size coulter is that and is your plow shear bolt protected and if so how do you protect your feeder tube from the fold back of the plow?
