beck is a publicity hound that has little if any credibility especially when it comes to something like this...he is no different than clowns like howard stern...

the interface he described in the video is for DEALERS not public users...

You will get more news from Beck then you ever will from CNN, CNBC or MSNBC.

WARNING! ALERT! Has anyone seen the disclaimer on the "Cash for Clunkers" website. Do NOT log onto cars.gov unless you are sure you agree to the Terms and Conditions. To make a long story short, you are agreeing that your computer now becomes a part of the Federal government computer system, and it now belongs to them! They can upload or download or monitor anything they want to, because you have agreed to it. This is true even if you only logged on to check out what mileage your car is suppose to get. Kim Komando agreed on her national radio show that she had never seen anything this outrageous. Why would the Feds try to do this through such a ridiculous program?

You dont think they can allready access your computer anytime they want ? .

I aint into Conspiracy stuff like most , But I also think they can do what they want , when they want to without anyones knowledge .

The only reason They confiscate peoples computers that They think might be doing illegall activities , or pose a threat is for the evidence for conviction . IMHO I beleive they allready know whats on it . Dont raise any red flags & You have no worrys . I dont agree with it but , its hard to beleive it doesn,t happen allready . What scares Me is who THEY are . Bob

What you get from beck is not news...if you want news go to Reuters or the AP...

What you get from beck is paraniod sensationalism

Don't get me wrong...I'm a staunch conservatist but I happen to know much more about glenn beck than he would ever want you on any of his viewers/listeners to know...he is one of the biggest phonies on the airwaves...he will exploit anything to get his mug or voice seen or heard...

sorry to disagree but anyone familiar with computer transmission protocols know differently...

Granted, most computer users don't have a clue how information is shared across networks of which the Internet is one...
...for instance most users don't realize that unless it is blocked by a firewall...if there is an open connection to the Internet...many software applications (Photoshop for instance) "phone home" EVERY TIME the program is started...that means that if you start Photoshop your computer sends a message to the manufacturer that include your current IP address as wellas other information...
...But with the right software any user can control everything that is sent over the connection simply by monitoring the running TCP/IP services...think of it as a clear section of hose...if something is passing through it it's visable... for more information Google "TCP/IP"

Up until the second edition of Windows 98 (Win98SE) there was port on all previous versions of the operating system (Windows) that was called "NSA" once it was found Microsoft got flooded with bad publicity over it and renamed it...There are overr 65,000 available ports on the average new computer that information can be transmitted most users utilize 3-4 of these ports...a quality firewall allows savvy users to monitor all open ports...
