Got a "Piranha" toothbar from BXpanded

Installed the Piranha Bar today finally. I missed my vacation window from the earlier post. So this weekend I start the destruction of my yard.
Bar installs very easy.
Initial cut was into the base of the hill to level it out. Ground is top soil for 6" and then clay. Ground is still moist so clay is cutting like butter. It's a terrace actually, so the car trailer will sit level along side the road. This is where I'm backing in to get my gravel closer to where it needs to go. I live on a hillside so everything like this is a challenge. Well that was until now, thanks BXpanded.
Pictures will have to wait. I just popped on here to find out how to fix my throttle cable that quit working out of the blue. Got 3 3/4 tons of #2 to unload still and my new access ramp to the backyard.

Broke the throttle cable in two. Nowhere to get a new one until Tuesday.
I made a little trip to the AutoZone Help rack and bought a universal cable assembly and some cable stops.
I'll dive into fixing this when the Sun comes back out.

Just installed my Pirhana cutting edge. The first thing I did was to turn over my compost pile, When I go into it now it takes a much bigger bite and the bucket holds about 1 1/2 times more. Second thing I did was go after that mature Bamboo, It took it down like a chain saw. When the stalks got between the teeth they never had a chance. The third thing I tried I went after an old stump. Well the teeth dug in,But the little 1860 just could not lift the stump yet so I had to back out. Will keep working on that stump. Like everything else I bought off of Harry.First class. This is a great add on.

Throttle cable is non existent. Searched for one and never found one over the weekend so today I went to my dealer. Come to find out there is no throttle cable, it's called an engine wire:confused2:
None in stock:mad:.Had to order it. Good news is it was only $15 and change and will be here Thursday. So come Thursday I will be picking up my Engine wires, qty.2, and be back in business and a spare for the garage in case this happens again.
Next I want to look into running the industrial tread tires on the front. Or would those be considered "rim protectors"
Rant Over....
Back on the subject here. I love this Piranha Bar. Makes short work of light cutting in KY clay. It chews off the bottom of the hills for my Terracing like it was pre-cut. I moved 9 tons of #6 gravel and 3 3/4 tons of #2 gravel and it took it like a champ. The small stuff I pretty much figured no problem, but I was surprised at how well it took on the #2 stuff.
After all that was moved I went after 2 tons of sand and about 3 tons of dirt mixed with rock. Donated to me by a friend who was laying new drain lines around his house and needed the excess removed. Gotta love free.
Did I mention this thing chewed my Trailer floor protection plywood to shreds:laughing: Those teeth are awesome. Luckily I have more plywood in the garage, been wanting to beef it up to 3/4 inch plywood anyway. I did put a couple of good scars on the 2x10 flooring.

I'll be cutting in for rock walls here soon. Anyone have a 3 point Concrete/mortar mixer for these BX's. I have lots of small pour jobs that need done.

This is hands down the best attachment you can give your bucket. Not to mention the price was about half of what a Factory toothbar would of cost,AND it was delivered right to my door. The UPS guy even brought it in side my garage for me. I think he wanted to check out my Jeep J20.;)

Today I found out how easy it will slice open your fender wells in the truck bed. Didn't even notice it until my helper pointed it out. It is more of a small puncture actually.
Still loving this bar though.

After 13 tons of gravel, 2 tons of sand and a bunch of top soil and large rock gathering. Still nice and sharp.

Pic didn't come out too good but trying to show where I sliced off the bottom of the hill so the trailer would be more level for unloading.

The digging part with this Piranha bar will be getting a work out as soon as the shed area is leveled off.

Installed the Piranha on my BX23 today. Ordered it Sunday and got it Friday. Didn't have much time to try it out, but dug a couple loads of dirt and it dug much better. The bucket holds more dirt. Tried cutting some brush. I will need to practice that. This is the best attachment I have bought for my BX. Can稚 wait until I can try it again.

Now get Harrys forks, I believe they fit perfect into that Pirana bar...

Yes there are pockets in the teeth for the forks. They are near the ends on both sides...
Not sure how much stuff I would be forking to justify them. Although I could see where they would be great to have when needed..
