got about 8 inches here, but with the wind, we ended up with some 2 foot drifting. PITA snowblowing our gravel driveway because the top couple inches had thawed over the last few days. Was okay doing the neighbours paved driveway for him, they're gone to South Pacific for 4 weeks. Woulda thought he'd have asked us to come along.:confused3: instead he asked me to clear his drive so it wouldn't look like nobody was home. Pete
That was my fault, I took the blower off on Wednesday.<img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=365102"/>

Thanks Mo I do like that shot of the dawnserlylight(1) showing the drifting. Not bad for a cellphone shot from the tractor seat.I tip my hat to you guys and dealing with all that snow. I just plain couldn't do that. Great pictures by Vtsnowedin!

I plowed this storm a total of four times so didn't try to do the whole thing at once. It will walk through a four foot drift in one pass if the drift isn't the full width of the road or more then say fifty feet long. It is having some place to push it to that matters. I had one spur that is not essential that I left for last and plowed full depth. I ended up making four passes on that to get it over the banks and cleaned up so there was no advantage to waiting. . The picture taken at dawn shows some pretty good drifts and I walked through them with no problem but I came back after daylight and pushed the banks back and then re-cleaned the driving lane. A proper wing would be useful and is on my get-it list.VT does your tractor push this depth away in one shot of do you have to skim some first with what looks to be an 8' plow?
don't know why you don't blow the snow down wind...
