My new play purty. Supposed to have come with R4's. Dealer sending a man to swap'em. It was 96F when it got here and, of course, I had to try it out. After 2 trips around the field, had to cut the air down. Sweet.

That is a very nice tractor and cutter; kind of a hard choice on tires though, those Ag tires sure look nice. We have Industrials on our 5030 and Ags on our M8540; both work well.

If I ever wear my 5030 out, the 5740 will be my next tractor. I have a Land Pride RCR2672 on my 5030 and I think you will really like your LP.

If that were mine, I'd probably sit in it for an hour with the A.C. on, just smiling like an idiot, running my hands over the controls:D Enjoy it, nice looking machine!

I have one exactly like that and if you were closer I would try to talk you into letting me trade my r4s for the ags. The air works great,I have only had to put the fan on 2 one time and it was 100 degrees in an open field.

It must be nice with the AC. Makes you want to do a lot more than you planned on. When the house is 85 and the tractoris 65 degrees I'd take the tractor.....

Very nice !!!! I am so jealous....and wish I had enough land to support that size tractor. ...one of these days, hopefully. I dont mean to pry,and by no means am I asking what you paid for it,but what ballpark figure do these sell for?

Thanks for all the kind remarks. When we unloaded it today, it was 96 degrees. After going over the paperwork and such, i had to try it out. After two trips around the field, I had to cut the air down. It works much nicer than I thought it would.

As far as what I paid for it, it's kind of hard to say because of all that was involved in the trading and swapping. I traded in a year old L3240 and a 5' LP bought at the same time for the 5740 and the 7' cutter. However, the deal also included the labor to move my third function kit from one to the other, as well as the antifreeze to load the tires. I believe it worked out very close to 10 to 12% off the price listed on the net.

Thanks again folks for all the info and kind comments.
