Very very nice. That toothbar on the bucket looks like a real "Weapon", should break through pretty much anything.

Enjoy your new rig......just got a new 2520 myself a couple of months ago, and have never had a "twinge" of buyers remorse. I'm sure you will love it, I'm very happy with mine.

I notice you don't have the JD stripe decal on the bucket loader arms. Mine also came in that way. and I mentioned it to my dealer that I thought I had seen them on other 2520's, they wern't sure so they went ahead and ordered a set and put them on for me. I guess they are all coming now without the loader arm decals.

Congrats BethesdaEc,

My new 2520 came in today. Same exact setup (minus the FEL teeth). Ordered up a ballast box to use in the snow. Only bad part is have an X-mas party today can't go out and play.

Well I got her dirty today, we had a big 20" diameter pine that fell right before we purchased the house last March. The pine had been overrun with mile a minute to the point that we couldn't see it until the cold snap kill it off. Well I went in there with the FEL and cleared away the brush so I could get a chain saw in there and chop it up. The tooth bar is amazing for dealing with the mile a minute, you go in low raise and curl the bucket and back out, it's like a huge comb.

This is where the tree was, most of this area was a mass of tree branches with a covering of mile a minute.

So the toothbar is awesome on mile a minute.....If you were to curl your bucket upward, do you think the toothbar would be solid enough to throw a cable or chain over to drag or lift something weighing several hundred pounds?

It sure looks awesome! :licking:

I think several hundred pounds would be OK. Since the bucket will lift 800 pounds, I am not sure that I would go that far.
