Barlow's offered me very good money for my trade based on my description. While we were coordinating shipping I sold it on craig's list. If there is one big advantage of Kubota vs the other scut brands out there its resale. I had a lot of interest and sold it for 1500 more than trade in a couple of weeks.

Agree. Brady Barlow offered a fair price on my BX trade, but I sold it on Craigs for $1500 more. Brady even suggested this approach as a better deal for me, financially. It isn't a sure thing, selling on Craigs, but sooner or later, the right person comes along. It's almost always to your advantage to sell it outright.

Congrats! Bought from Barlow's last fall and had a very good experience. Local dealer would not match pricing and was not that excited about selling a BX. Guess if you don't buy a "real" tractor you are not their kind of customer. Even w/ cash in hand. Go figure. They don't get my service business either. Your projects list will expand quickly as you realize what these units can do. First thing, if you plan on using the tractor w/o the mower deck on get a skid plate to protect that plastic fan.

Does the Trac Vac hook into the mower deck?

The Trac Vac will hook into the mower deck when the adapter gets in next week. Man that thing was expensive - I paid $125.00 for the one on my JD X300 and now the price is $200 + TAX.
