Got my new First Choice BoxBlade and RFM!!!

Well I got my First Choice BB3072 Box Blade and 72" RFM last night. These are some very well made pieces of equipment! I have not had a chance to assemble them yet but took a couple of pics. I will post more as I get them put together (hopefully tonight!). Please excuse the picture quality...very cheap camera!

I think you might be right!

I think the temp tractor will work fine until I get the house built. I will definatly need the Super Steer after that!!!!!!

Looks like the used Ford will be a beat up 1989 1920 2wd with Shuttle Shift.

I think the Ford/New Holland 1920 & 2120 were perhaps the best compacts that actually approach a small utility farm tractor... nice bulk weight, dependable gear trans... just plain durable units... maybe could use a tad more hydraulics... but I think they're great units...

Here is a pic of the tractor I will probably purchase. My dealer is going to let me have it for $4800.

They just put a new two stage clutch in it and it runs like a champ. Starts right up every time. It has power steering and shuttle shift. It has really rough sheet metal and the tires are pretty well gone. Broken tach at 650 hours and needs some work on the position control lever (it is really tight). It was used by a home builder to move dirt with a box blade. He brought it in to replace the clutch and decided to get a TC45 instead.

With a little TLC I think I can get it back in shape.

A ROPS, 4 Wheels, and it runs. What more could a guy as for?

I'm becoming more and more happy with my new orange machine, but I have a foreign blue machine (1970 Leland) that has served me well for the last 10 years. I am getting it ready to sell for near what I paid for it.

I believe I posted some instructions for assembly to Gary some time back. It's very simple, but our guys have found a few tricks.

Congratulations on your new equipment. Glad we could get the logistics worked out.
