Tires Gotta love my dealer

The Kubota dealer here in Norwalk, CT, Wesco. They are great.

My front tire has had a slow leak in it since I bought the tractor. 73 hrs on it now. Called them this week and it is under warranty. They are replacing the tire and rim as one assembly. No cost and very little hassle.

My dealer, Davis Farm Supply in Fruitland, MO replaced my left front tire and wheel twice on my BX2660 before finding one that doesn't leak; good to see dealers standing behind their products.

Both my fronts still leak. Upon further review, they both leak at the bead. Do you think I could have a dealer warranty them other than my purchasing dealer?

I kind of doubt it as Kubota kept telling my dealer they were not aware of any problems and the replacement tires came out of my dealer's pocket.

The service rep told me he called Kubota and was getting a service recall from Kubota. So I understand it that Kubota not the dealer is doing the warranty. Lets see when the tire and rim come in.

This may be one of those situations that it comes down to the dealer.

Ok heres the deal. Just talked to my local dealer. He called Kubota. They are aware of the problem with the bad beads on the BX26 series. he told me to bring the tires in, and they are going to put tubes in them (kubotas solution). Kubota is going to pick up the tab. That is what im going to do tomorrow.

Its weird, another dealer told me to fill them with slime.

Good luck, I put a tube in mine when it first went bad, but I didn't spend that kind of money for tubed tires, so my dealer replaced until I got a good one. I have used Slime in my ATV tires and even one of my tractors, but it was because of thorns; don't know if it will distribute enough to help the beads.

I stopped by my dealer today and filed a claim for warranty on my BX2660 tire, well actually they have to file the claim. I'll be fine with the tube deal so who is your dealer so I can tell my dealer where it was approved.

my front right on my bx2360, is a leaker . . . i emailed my dealer-yesterday, no response yet . . . i'll give him until monday . . .

I didn't even think about a leaky tire being covered under warranty. My right front leaked early on (at about 10 hours) but I just Slimed it and it hasn't leaked since (hitting the 200 hour mark now).
