GR2110 Deck Drift

I just took delivery on a new GR2110. One thing I have noticed is that if I raise the deck to the full up position, even with the engine left running, the deck drifts to the full down position after 5-10 minutes. Is this normal? Something that can be adjusted? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Your valve spool night have some leakage, or it could be the lift cyl seals leaking.

Is the valve spool going back to neutral.

Does the deck drift down over night?

Yes the spool goes back to neutral, and it will drift down within 10 minutes. Really hate to send this back to the dealer - has less than 2 hours on it, brand new...

Make them repair or just return the machine for one that will meet your satisfaction.

That kind of drift down would ruin your lawn if you didn't know about the drift.
