GR2120 vs BX?

We recently moved to a new home in southern NH. We have a 2 acre lot with no landscaping at the moment. So I will need something to mow the lawn, help out as we garden, and remove snow from a 75’ long driveway. By the time I add a mower deck and a plow blade, both of these machines seem very pricey. The BX can do more, but at a higher cost, larger size (will need a bigger shed), and a larger turning radius.

What do you recommend?

I'd go with the BX with a 5 ft MMM....and a FEL...and a 5 ft rear blade for snow and light grading.......and... After that, maybe a walk behind tiller for a small garden. Then you will know what you need .....for sure. My trade in on my first Kubota (BX) was a fair price when I moved up to a "B" size for my three acres.

You can do a lot more with a BX. A BX is pretty common used also. I was looking at the same two 15 years ago and I am so glad I bought the BX. I owned it 10 years and out 800 hours on it, a solid machine. I’ve since moved on to a larger John Deere.

My BX replaced a riding mower 20 odd years ago. 4500+ working hours later I have never regretted that move. Added a bigger machine to give the little feller a break a couple of years ago. Still use it almost daily, well I have flat right now and too cold to fix
Just the effort saved with the loader vs shovel/wheel barrow is the worth the cost to me. Opened up a whole new mindset to projects. My LS with a backhoe expanded the horizons that much more.

Used BX or negotiate for a new one. I got my Kioti CS2520 for 72% of list. Happy so far with it. Twin hydro pedals. I don't care for the BX tread pedal.
