Auto throttle???? Something new? I presume on a HST? The only HST I ever owned you just set the throttle at about 2k and left it there. .75 per isn't bad.

I believe it is "new" with the HST+3 tractors (someone will correct me if I am wrong).
Auto throttle advance the peddle acts more like a throttle control like a automobile. I haven't driven one further than a parking lot with it yet so I can't comment more than that.

FWIW, I ended up trading in my new 3240 for a bigger machine because of a lack of power. Loader work with HST was wonderful though. Our ranch has always had a 30ish horsepower tractor for doing various chores. Brush hogging, loader work, and light pallet work. Our current "small" tractor is a late 90's Ford 1910. I can tell you that that machine hands down will outwork a 3240 in almost every task. When I got my own pc of land, I assumed a nice 30 hp tractor would be sufficient. I was really disappointed with the 3240's grunt. My vote says buy all the horsepower you can. It would have saved me a few $.
