Nice! You will love this unit. I have about 270 hours on mine and have enjoyed every one of them. No issues with the tractor. I'd buy it again.

Looking forward to this summer when I'll be able to put some hours on.

As of right now the tractor will be mainly used for brush hogging around our family farm (100+acres). Also looking forward to working on my rifle/handgun range I built last year behind my house. The FEL is a huge help while trying to improve upon it.

Hopefully next winter i'll start looking at blowers/plows a little more seriously. Not exactly sure what to go with. Do you go with a blower up front ($$) or plow in front with a blower in the rear :confused2:

My sons and I are still working on our rifle/handgun range anf the FEL on our L5030 HSTC and M8540 HSDC are saving us a boat load of money over a dozer. We will probably bring one in to finish with, but we have moved a LOT of dirt with them.

LOL I should've clarified that I don't mean the plastic parts I'm referring to the loader paint and castings with new Holland it seems they build the tractor and then say let's paint it ;-) I was totally disgusted with the shape of welds and paint job on my loader and snowblower it was rusting first day I received it , I also gave Kubota a serious consideration of buying I just couldn't deal with the only dealer in town a total "$##$#$ to say the least take care and enjoy your tractor

Now that's funny, but only someone who's driven the Cross Bronx Expressway, preferably back in the 70's, would get that reference. Let's just say, don't leave your car in the break down lane for long while you go for that emergency can of gas.

How is the 3rd function ran, is it a factory install w/joystick buttons? Or did you run it off rear remotes?

My third function was dealer installed ,on the Joy stick.Wasn't cheap but sure works nice.Use it year round with the plow and thumb.Thumb is a great addition if you do any brush clearing or logging.
