It痴 getting close now! Got the loader and third function quick couplers installed, and the hydraulic quick attach up front...swinging drawbar and top-n-tilt done in the rear. They gotta install the radio and still waiting on the support for the front hitch. Then I知 just waiting on the finish mower to arrive (the ballast box, grader scraper and rotary cutter are still supposed to ship in late November ).

Very nice setup. A word of caution, if you plan to use your very nice new tractor in rough terrain, you want to consider a skid plate. The third function hoses on the 60 series are very vulnerable to sticks, roots, stumps, etc. I had a friend make a skid plate. If you are interested look for a thread under my user name that has photos.

There are a pair of switch blanks to the right of the arm rest below the rear remote levers. The buttons for the SSQA go there. I don't remember why they needed 2 buttons, but thats what I remember when I was researching the OEM option.

Personally I'm going to just leverage the 3rd function plumbing. Put a diverter block out on the loader. Leave the diverted valve set to the SSQA most of the time. After you drop the bucket pick up & latch the implement. You have to get off to hook up hoses anyway. So when hooking up hoses, flip the diverter over to the 3rd function QDs. Reverse to drop the implement. Under $200 for the valve & hoses that way. 95% as effective & cool as the OEM option.

I agree 100%. Damaged a couple hoses before I got to it. Went with Specialty Repairs Custom Mods - 3rd Function Guard Bota 6

Nice ride Derek. I noticed in the bucket shipping pic the bucket didn't have a cutter blade and the finished pics it was there. Is that something you had added or was it included with the bucket?

Thx workinonit! I ordered the replaceable cutting edge, it didn稚 come with the bucket. It was only recently installed...good eye, by the way!

I have a step and third function. I wonder if the the step is lost with the quick attach?

Hey buck12, I知 pretty sure that痴 the case. The sticker on the cover (on mine) over the valves and hoses has the same part number on it as the hyd SSQA I ordered. Still gonna have to fab something up to get the step back and thinking I値l just incorporate it along with a skid plate to protect all that on the bottom as you suggested!

I don’t know how much I would miss the right side step. It so much easier to enter and exit on the left side that I rarely use the right side.

Thx buck, we will see how it goes. I wondered the same thing but thought it would be nice in the event I was ever in a tight spot. Maybe overthinking it

Pushing 500 hours on my L4060... I think I've boarded from the right once, possibly twice. Mostly to see if I could. Its super tight, you bump the loader joystick & step on the HST pedal. Machine bounces around, you crap your pants. Then you always go around to the correct side to jump in. I use that door a lot to manipulate controls from the ground while hitching. The step gets used for holding the fuel cap while fueling more than anything. Inreally wouldn't miss that step on my machine.

I might, . For some reason the open stations do not come with the right step.
