Grapple circuit selection?

I am building a grapple for my John Deere 2320 and am getting ready to order the selector valve from surplus center....Does anybody have suggestions for a switch or special setup to power the grapple when I need to energize the selector valve? I have looked at Scorpion control handles...cost about $130.00. I was hoping to do it a little cheaper, but I want somthing that also looks good. I have spent all this money on equipment and don't want to make it trashy looking with something that looks all cobbled up What are you guys using that looks good, works well and doesn't look trashy. Thanks for all your input.

I used this handle, I happen to have had it lying around. I also put a master switch to kill the power going to the switchs when I'm not using anything on the third funtion.

what did this handle go to and where did you mount the switch in the handle

I really don't remember what the joystick was from originally. But the switches were part of the handle. Here is a little better pic of the front switch, the other switch is the red button on the top of the handle in the first post. I used the button on the top to close the grapple and the one with the guard around it to open the grapple.

I went through the very same decision years ago...could not find anything suitable for less money. I ended up buying a JD handle from a 110TLB.

I am also trying to build a wet kit for my front end loader which selector valve are you using?

One of the other gentleman who is very knowledgeable on these types of things (JJ) suggested that I use this valve from surplus supply https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2348021316455634&catname=&qty=1&item=9-5117a

It is fairly inexpensive and only has to be powered when you want to use the other circuit. I'm going to order it in a couple of days. I am also looking at modifying my loader control handle by removing the rubber knob and modifying a new control handle by adding a switch to it, don't know if it will work but I ordered the handle and will see this week This is part 16 and 14.

I've thought of using something like an auto shift knob with a NOS button built in. The issue might be they're not water proof.

WR Long sells a kit for a full third function on a joy stick. Included in that kit is a joystick knob with built in switch that would fit on any existing joystick shaft up to, I'd guess, 1/2 inch in diameter. The switch is normally off and has an up position and a down position, both momentary. (it goes back to off when you release it) You might be able to buy that knob separately and it sure doesn't look like it would sell for much over $50. They have been a very reasonable company to deal with in my experience.
