One thing I did on mine was the valve is mounted near the tractor front, so the connections and hoses are convenient for grapple or other front hydraulic equipment I use. I got a polarized two wire connector from O'Reilleys. I cut it so one half goes to battery ground and thru fuse holder to + (red). Other plug to solenoid, black wire to metal case ground, red + to power.
Plug is zip tied so I unplug when not in use so if I push switch it won't actuate solenoid. And it's fuse protected. $2.95.
I never trust screw grounds.
