Grapple for L2501

I second EA.

Big thing to consider is the work you want to do. You said Logs. The Single Lid Wicked has too large a throat for small logs, anything under 12".

I would go with the Wicked 55 if I was in your shoes.

That is a great and well done video. Good looking grapple with lightening holes in all the right places. What do you use it for and how strong would you rate it?

I use it for brush, downed trees, and rocks to the capacity of the tractor. My loader would probably fail before the grapple would.

The tractor is being delivered Monday
Going to give it a try with the pallet forks
If not happy the E/A for the grapple
Thanks for the suggestions

Forks are super handy! Still the best loader attachment in my opinion.

I used to laugh at forks and figured that was the last accessory I would ever need. Now that I have a set I don't know how I got by without them. For a smaller tractor just get a smaller and lighter set.

Has anyone heard of Construction Attachment grapples
They make a 54 grapple that weighs in at 200lbs and my dealer sales this brand

Ted's brother owns Construction Attachments and I'm sure we've sold more of their products than anyone. The 200 pound 54" grapple they offer is intended for a mini skid steer, is visually comparable to our 50" Single Lid Wicked Grapple, BUT the CA only opens to 20" and our 50 opens to 30". Our 54" and up compact grapples open to 37" and the ~200 pound Wicked 55 rake style opens to 36".

We have some simply ideal choices for a huge range of tractor sizes and I prefer to speak to the customer about the application and degree of usage before making a cut/dry recommendation. Not to sound ugly, only honest, but if the best thing a dealer has to recommend it for an L series is a 20" opening grapple, that explains why were so far behind.

PS: I created this thread with info about pretty much our entire lineup and will continue to add pics and information as time goes on.
