Hey guys,

Shopping around for a grapple rake, and I know what I want, but it is proving to be elusive to find.

Looking for a grapple rake with the shorter bottom teeth, and not a root grapple. I'd like it to be between 48-66" inches wide, have two clamps on the top, and not weigh 1200 lbs. My machine has a ROC of 1500 lbs.

Those prerequisites are proving hard to find. Mostly doing loose piles of brush, the odd tree stump or larger rock, etc.

I found one at Precision Manufacturing, but they're a smaller company and most of their dealers I've spoken to aren't even aware they are dealers, not to mention they have a pretty healthy lead time right now.

Any other offerings I should be considering before going with this one? There are so many third party brands, that I figured I'd ask here.

So ..... you are somewhere near MO ??? There is a company here in NE WA state. ANBO. They will make just about any type of grapple you think you need. As long as it's engineringly sound. You might want to give their web site a look-see.

I'm not, I'm in Ohio. I've actually hard of ANBO, but I didn't realize they were willing to do custom units. Not that two separate grapples is anything crazy custom.

Looked on their site and didn't see anything that featured two, but I might have to give them a call and see how doable is it.
