Grapple will open, but will not close however, it works manually when depressing at the end of the spools

Spending hours on this trying to figure this thing out. This is a difficult one. Called wr long talk to them about the issue after doing some troubleshooting they sent me out a new rocker switch and control module thinking it’s electrical problem. The rocker switch is fine. Switched out the control module same issue. I’m scratching my head. I can’t figure this out. I operated it manually and it worked anyways. RW long is sending me another control module. This hopefully will take care of it.

"but will not close when I depress the solenoids manually." Heres the clue. It appears that the solenoid doesn't open even when activated. Like said above switch the hoses. If it then opens replace the solenoid.

My dual lid grapple usually opens or closes one lid sooner or faster than the other. It's normal and expected with parallel cylinders on the same circuit. Tiny differences in friction make the difference.

Thank you for help. I greatly appreciate it. However, perhaps you miss read my post. When I depress it manually The solenoid grapple works. It closes and opens.

Have you checked to see if you are getting 12 volts at the valve when the switch is pressed?
If you are and it still doesn't work check the resistance of the coils on the valve. They should be the same resistance. Why does a grapple need a circuit board?

Spoke with WR long tech-support they’re really good guys. Turns out it was the control module they sent me was faulty. They’re sending me out a new one that should take care of it.

Thank you, but it had nothing to do with the hoses and operated manually. It’s an electrical issue.

I lost a pin to their Bolt on grapple, I was able to stop by their manufacturing place in Tarboro and the owner looked up the plans to find the correct pin size and we walked into the shop and he handed me the pin. I tried to give him $10 but he wouldn't take it... very nice guy.
