Sparkkky, I havn't regretted going with one cylinder, it's amazing the force you have with just one, never dropped anything I can pick up and some of the oak trees are mighty big. I am glad I went with the 8" ram, I think I get a little more open and close with it. Yes I have used it with the tooth bar just didn't take any pics with it on.

Mike I did the same thing, not thinking I guess, thought I had everything thought out to mount it except the toothbar. The center tooth will have to be moved over a bit like you said. I'd like to thank you as some of my ideas came from you.

Been worrying that my two arm grapple thats only 18" wide might not be wide enough to do a good job, but I dont think the teeth are going to have the same problem hitting.

Don't worry bout it that's how we all learn, I made the same mistake. Moving the tooth isn't that difficult. An angle grinder destroys the original bead and the tooth is easy to remove beyond that point.

BTW: I was cutting some pretty large trees today and I never cut a one that the grapple couldn't lift easily. A couple of times I grabbed two at once. It's really nice being able to tote the trees directly to the burn pile, then without dropping them use the grapple to hold them at the proper height to cut them up with the chain saw. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
