I waited a bit for my 55" Wicked Root Rake grapple. I have used it for things that it probably shouldn't be used for. The only 2 things I had to do to it was tighten up the plugs in the cylinders and make a few angle spacers to tighten up the SSQA holes for my BX. Once that was done, it is awesome. Only thing I have done to it is scratch the black paint a lot! haha :) I seriously would wait to get the EA one. For me, the biggest thing was weight. I needed something light and strong, and this meets both of those requirements.

I waited about 9 weeks on mine. I think it was worth the wait. My other options were single ram unit at about 400 pounds for a 48" and $1100 or to go with the just over 200 pounds for a 55 EA with dual rams for $1650. Wasn't much sense in adding that weight when my tractors list FEL capacity was 1250 pounds and made sense to spend the little extra one time on the bigger unit. In the end if I had not waited I'd be handicapped by that much difference. It made sense to wait and get what I wanted.

I think it is wrong for a TBN advertiser to run down a competitor product in this case EA vs Land Pride. The buyer will make those decisions. There are lots of valid choices.

I completely agree with you. Advertisers should stay in their swim lanes and support and push their own product. I have little respect for a company that bashes another company and I see it as a weakness. EA makes a good, expensive product and they should have the maturity to promote their product and not bash another brand. Manufactures that bash other brands leave a bad taste in my opinion. Travis is normally better than that but fell off the grapple this time. He will get back on, I trust. He is a good guy and EA is a good company.

Nothing different than any auto manufacturer does on there ads.

Just to name one, so many other manufacturers of products do the same.

I'm sorry but I didn't see anything that could be considered bashing. Facts are facts. Some people are easily offended is all. Get thicker skin.

Yeah, probably. Just touting your product without pointing out why it's better/stronger/etc. than others doesn't tell the whole story. Of course, all of advertising is about not telling the whole story!

This is bashing. Travis has a good product so no sense as a manufacturer commenting like this on another brand.

I wouldn't go as far to call them "junk", but they just do not come close to a Wicked.

The last quote in post #27 is not accurate. I typed the first sentence, but the rest was from someone else's post. Happy Sunday and nothing was bashed BTW.

...except for the Wicked 55 when Ted unleashed the L6060 on it.

I'd also point out that 'wait time' is also relative to where you are.

Can you imagine the added delivery time to Alaska, Hawaii or even Tasmania?

Count your blessings.

You said they do not come close to an EA grapple, that is bashing the other brand. Plain and simple. Manufactures and advertisers should stay above derogoatory comments of other brands. Let’s move on, back to the thread....
