gravely ID needed

Hello,

I'm thinking of putting a bid on a Gravely tractor thats coming up for auction relatively close. I need something to complement the JD 3720 for mowing lawn and moving snow in smaller areas. I know little about the Gravely but it looks like a good machine and I expect I can get this one for about $2-300.

Attached is a pic from the listing. Could anyone suggest a good website to help identify this model?

Gravely Tractor, Walking, Power Driven. Kohler Engine. Comes with the following attachments:

Sulky Riding, power lawn mower 40".
Snow Removal Unit, walking, power driven 32".
Sweeper, rotary, vehicle mounting, 44" power brush.
Includes: Operators manual for all parts.
Sold as is, together as a Unit. Was in working order when pallatized.

Hi! By Picture This ones is not very old. I think 5600 serial near the last Gravely Two -wheels make Very good and powerful. The value with implements is a lot more 2-300$ I think near 2K is a good deal. Good luck! Oldmech

Thanks for the help. It might well go for as much as you say but I've got some screaming deals from this surplus place in the past. On the other hand I've seen items go for much more than they are worth. They use sealed bids so I just bid what I figger it's worth and if I get it for a deal, great. If not, no big deal.

Couple years back I got 3 large air compressors for $400 (probably about $325 US at the time). I kept the basically new 7.5 HP 80 gallon horizontal tank compressor and sold the two similar ones. On the one I kept all I did was change the 3 phase for a single phase motor.

The one I kept is slightly older than the ones currently sold here;

If this unit is in working order, the tractor and the 40" cutting deck would easily go for probably $600 or more here without the other implements. Seach ebait for past sales and you'll see.

On e-bay that tractor and mowing deck alone will go for $1500 easy.

Thought I'd let you know the auction closed, I didn't get it. Not terribly concerned as I put a low bid in so it would have been a geart deal if I got it. Still went for a good price, $1220 Canadian (about $966 US).
