I'm partial to the silver too!! A little accent to the beast, kinda like a chrome grille!

1*I think the gray grille guard on the BX25 sticks out like a sore thumb.

I much prefer the Kubota orange guard pictured below.
-What do you guys think?

(I snagged these pics off of the net, so they may look familar)
1*But it offers more protection than the orange one.
2* You could paint it orange.

Gray/silver is my preference if I had one. I can't see it from my seat. Which one do you have?

I did not like the gray grille so I bought the orange from ebay, I like it and goes with the theme, my opinion

If I had one I meant preference. I actually have both of them, hadn't noticed the Orange one since I've had it for a year on the BX2660 until today. Had the BX25 a month and noticed and knew it had the silver/gray one.

To clarify: I don't have a Kubota guard. I got mine from a very helpful gentleman on EBay for $50 or something, bolts included.

As far as discussions about protection, I'm confused...with the laser-cut "BX" plate running vertically, I would think the increased coverage would yield more 'protection'. But unless your's is different than mine, the thing is as stout as the tractor frame itself. I'd have to run into a brick wall at full boogie to even make a scratch in my grill guard.

And before I get any guff, this picture of my tractor is years old. While it hasn't been abused, it hasn't been this clean in...well...ever. While it COULD look this clean again, I'm not a member of the "detail-your-tractor-for-as-long-as-it-took-you-to-do-the-project-in-the-first-place" club.

I dont think mine ever looked that nice even when it was delivered new. Always seems to have that coating of dirt on it.
