Got this idea from Handyman Magazine. You could substitute a 2" pipe for the lower half.

Pretty neat, I just hang my spare gun on a nail on the wall. I lay my pneumatic gun under my work table where it gets grease all over but it is handy there and the grease does clean up easily from the Formica table top when I take the time to clean it.

That is nice but would never make it into the top 20 on my chore list. I just keep the guns and cartridges in a plastic tub. Would not win a housekeeping award but keeps the mess in one place.

If I recall, Lincoln sell a bracket that allows U to permanently mount a grease gun somewhere convenient on your tractor.

It is a clamp on bracket that firmly holds the gun in place.
