I have a new NAPA grease gun and when I grease my tractor the hose is really hard to get off of the grease nipples. I've never had issue like this before. Is there a trick to this?

Yes, there's a trick to it. I'm not sure now of the correct terminology, but the end piece that goes onto the grease fitting has something like some little fingers in it and the outer part that screws onto it adjusts how tight they fit. Is that confusing enough? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif In other words, unscrew the end a little bit to loosen it up.

Thanks Bird,

I just ran into the same thing while greasing the 4-wheeler. Didn't know I had screwed it up tight, but guess I must have.

Mine works the same way, cant find a happy spot with it either
should have throwed it out a long time ago.
I have to tighten & loosen it each time /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Thanks, I will give it a try. I figured it wasn't the grease gun as it seems like a a good one.

Yalerider,

Does that mean you are going to throw out the Branson,--and keep the Grease Gun??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
