My FEL manual says to grease the control lever when I grease the pivot points on the loader every 10 hours. I couldn't see a fitting or an effective way to grease the lever, unless I am missing something. Anyone know how it should be done?

I have the same trouble on my BX,but I don't think it has a fitting. I lifted the boot and sprayed some lubricant on the joints, but it doe not last long.

Just use a little oil from an oil can on the control pivots.

I honestly haven't done mine in a long time and at 500hrs I'm starting to get quite a bit of slop in the joystick. I'll probably have to replace the pivots in another 500hrs or so.

In hindsight it should probably be done about every other greasing.

I also use fluid film to lubricate the FEL control lever linkage. I used to use white lithium grease but have found that fluid film lasts much longer and smells better to boot!!

Where do you get access to spray it? do you go through the top or under the fender?

On my L3400HST it is pretty easy.. just lift up the rubber boot and spray and put it back.. about a 30 second job.. but YMMV

Just like James said. The bottom of the rubber boot is grooved, just pull it up and out of the way and spray the linkage down.
