I would think nothing at all. Like I said in an earlier post today, the frequency of the greasing task is probably more important than the brand. That is if it is recommended by the manufacturer. The 2 brands that are listed in my Kubota operators manual are Shell Alvania EP2, and Mobilux EP2. I chose Mobilux because I found a good price on line from a reputable dealer for a 5 gal. bucket. I wonder if either Shell or Mobilux is made for Kubota and sold as Kubota grease. Just a thought.

Bought it over 40 years ago ... I don't use the bleed screw on this, or the button on my M12 Milwaukee to purge the air, I just don't screw the tube in all the way, then pump or squeeze the trigger until it's happy!

I actually prefer the manual over the electric ...

I have a couple of pistol grip guns too, but with a longer hose. I used to have a lever action gun, but I like the pistol grip much better!

I use plain ole GL2 grease, in fact I've been using the same 5G pail of grease for the last 10 years. It's almost empty now, and it get tiresome removing the air grease gun and remixing the grease because the oil seperated; so rather than buy another 5G pail I'll switch to tubes for my electric gun that I use to grease the MH chassis.

Those pistol grip grease guns make my arthritic fingers hurt just looking at them. I have trouble with oil cans some days. Electric all the way!

I use Shell Gadus V220 for all rolling element bearings like on PTO shaft and snowblower/mower bearings.

I use Shell Gadus V460 for all plain (sliding) bearings like on my loader.

No complaints. They seem to do the job. I think any quality grease should work. If in doubt contact the representatives of the grease manufacturer and they will help you select the grade and type that is most suited to what you need.

The important point is that you should probably use a different grease for higher speed rolling element bearings vs the bushings on your loader.
