Greasing Zero-Turn Drive Shaft

I have a ZD-1011 Zero Turn and had a question about greasing the "U" joints for the shaft that goes between the motor and hydraulic pump. Was able to get the slip joint fitting and the "U" joint on the motor side. Seems impossible to get to the joint on the pump side without removing the shaft. Any suggestions?

I have a situation like that on my front mounted snow bower for my Massey 1736. The blower's sub-frame has 2 shafts with U-joints. One of the shaft's U-joints, just like you mention I am only able to grease by removing it from the sub-frame.

The driveshaft on the ZD21 is like that, but with the mower on the car lift I can rotate the driveshaft and find the very small spot where I can get a locknlube on the grease nipple. It's a very small/narrow window, I'm guessing the zd1011 is similar.

On the ZD 331 I drive it up on ramps high enough to get under it and use a large screw driver to rotate the shaft to use the Locknlube and cordless pump to grease it

That's how I grease that shaft on my ZD1211, 326, and previous 331 also. I believe there is an access hatch over the front u joint on that shaft, but it's just as easy to get it from underneath.
The rear joint on the mower shaft is more of a pain to get to, so I usually disconnect it for greasing.

Remove the driveshaft from the transmission side.There is a slide coupling that you pull back then slide yoke of shaft.
