Just had my new to me MF 231S delivered yesterday. I've been looking all over the net to try and find info. both good and bad on Masseys as well as the 231S in particular.
I'm a newbie to the full size tractor world, so bear with me in the upcoming months. Initially I'm sure I'll have plenty of "dumb" questions, but hopefully with a little bit of experience I'll be of help to someone down the line.
I've been renting a Kubota to clear my new place and where I mow I tend to get a lot of stuff (grass, leaves, etc) coating the radiator and causing the tractor to get warm.
THe Kubota I was renting had a removable "screen" behind the grille, but just in front to the radiator and it helped a ton in keeping the radiator from getting caked with junk.
Sorry for the long post, but the question I have is: Does Massey make a "screen" that fits in front of the radiator to keep it from getting loaded up with junk? What is the best way y'all have found to clean the radiator when its coated with crud.
