My 4300 has been trouble free also. In fact, the worse thing that has happened in 400 hours of use was the fuel gauge sender.

I wouldn't lump all Deeres in the same catagory.
I am sure every tractor maker has had some issues also.

how many hours are on the tractor?

what did they allow you for trade?

and what ended up being the problem that made it quit?

Its not that easy...I had a area rep call my house,we had a polite conversation,he would not tell me his last name. The area reps do not pass out there phone numbers/ full names....They use the dealers as there front,to screen things for them. I am not saying one could not get there name ,but they want you to go through the dealers for the most part, at least that is the experience I had when I was having some problems.
