Hello, read a few posts here from past google searches, and now that I'm doing more construction projects, it seems like a good place to register and get to know everyone.
I was born in Virginia but moved to Iceland 10 years ago. Just finished a 2x4 meter shed with corrugated roof and board and batten siding that I designed and built myself, and in the process of building a large 6x6 meter greenhouse attached to our house. In a longer term project we are building a summer house in the countryside on some land we bought off my father in law. I love pole houses (grew up vacationing in the OBX) and have some slight experience with the method from the greenhouse and shed. The plot for the house is on a hill with an excellent view which also makes me want to use this method.
