I bought my 735 in '87 and when I needed a coil for it sometime in the late '90s, the closest dealer I could find was Joel's folks close to Salem, In. I picked up the tiller at my FILs house and took it to the them. They checked it out and found the coil bad. They replaced the coil and it started right up, only thing I had forgotten to take enough money or the checkbook with me. I was a total stranger to them, but they had done business with one of my neighbors. They gave me a copy of the bill, $37.00 and told me to just mail them a check. You just don't run into those kind of people everyday. Joel has since opened Earth tools and is a really good guy to do business with. I had a sealed bearing in the clutch lose it's grease and it got on the clutch surface and caused it to slip in a hard pull. I wanted to visit Earth Tools, so I took the clutch pack out and took it to see Joel. He replace the bearing and cleaned up the clutch surface and put it back together. I expected him to try to sell me a new clutch surface, but he said mine was still good. If you ever get a chance to go by there, stop in and check them out, they have a lot of stuff there and the know these machine inside out. When I get ready to replace the tines, I could order them from Joel, but I think I'll just go pick them up and check out some more machinery.
