Actually, since the death of Rush Limbaugh, I hardly listen to the car radio any more...I hear enough commercials on TV...besides, I find I need to concentrate on my driving...maybe so I can see better?

I used to enjoy taking a motorcycle ride through a scenic area that is unfamiliar to me and enjoy the scenery. Now I find that I need to focus more exclusively on the road.

I'm not sure what percentage is an actual reduction in my multitasking ability vs. just being more cautious and mortal.

Even in my much younger years, I saw a gradual decrease in what I considered to be acceptable risk. In high school, I used to enjoy taking a local S-curve road as fast as I could, and I would let the car slide through the curve in both directions. When I was home from college one weekend, I decided to take that same curve, and I couldn't believe how fast I used to go!

I was talking to one of my co-workers about motorcycles years ago. He told me about the time he and a friend were riding on the rural backroads that were poorly maintained blacktop. They went thru an S curve as fast as they could - unfortunately the blacktop had deteriorated and it was nothing more than gravel on a hard surface. One of them lost control and flipped and ended up in the ditch. Fortunately, the rider was not severely hurt, but the motorcycle was. Moral: always check the condition of the road before you exceed design limits.

Yeah. Either that, or don't drive like a loon. In my area, it's common in hilly areas to have patches of gravel that have washed out from a driveway onto the road. That can be a very bad day for a motorcycle rider that is being too aggressive.
