Gotta remember that aggregate size and edge distance for rebar are also a factor.

3 years ago I had a 24x40 6" 4000# slab poured for a metal barn. No rebar but 2 saw cuts and the slab cracked on the saw cuts. There is no difference in elevation on the floor. It cost me $1800.00 for concrete and $1300.00 cash for the pour and finishing. My neighbor did a 24x26 and spent $8100 for his slab with rebar and mesh. Bill C
