GT 1554 clutch runs when not turned on

Please Help! I was using my Cub Cadet GT1554 to pull a sprayer when the clutch engaged and started turning the blades when I had not turned it on at all. I could not find the problem so I took the deck out from under it to be able to finish the job at hand. Why won't the clutch disengage and what needs to be done to fix it?

your PTO clutch likely has a failing internal idler bearing that is seizing up, not allowing the clutch to freewheel while disengaged. You may be able to drop the the clutch off the the engine crankshaft, disassemble and replace that bearing... match the bearing stamped numbers found on it's body with a new one at a good parts house to save $$$. Use an impact wrench to remove the bolts holding the clutch to the crankshaft and remember to torque that same bolt upon reassy. Before/after pixs will also help to get all back together correctly. Thanks much. I have a buddy that can probably handle that. I don't have an impact wrench. He helped me when the drive belt went out. I'll give him a call. I just didn't know where to start looking for the problem. Thanks again for the advise.
