Almost put the tractor in the lake with only 10 hours on it. The plastic reverse foot pedal stuck under the frame in reverse and the brake will not stop the tractor in reversre at full throttle. Ended up turning off the key to get it stopped. The pedal is a cheap piece of plastic on mine that is very loose where it connects to the shaft. Any time I push the pedal to full reverse the pedal slips under the frame and is stuck there until I reach down and free it. Dealer is coming to look at the problem this afternoon. Hope they have a quick fix.

Just used my Gt 2544 for the first time and noticed the same thing.. I had read about it from a previous post by Yetii who experienced the same problem. I was ready for it. Must say that it did not do this all the time. Some times it did come to a complete stop. Will call the dealer and let them take a look at it.
Dealer had a quick fix. The bolt that holds the plastic reverse pedal to the shift rod had come loose allowing the pedal to wedge up under the frame. Might wanrt to check this bolt once and awhile because stuck in reverse at full throttle is no fun.
