Changed oil and filter at 50 hours. Just rolled over 120 hours and am going to change again this weekend.

It's not in the manual as a scheduled service. You can change it if you wish. Just make sure to keep up with the filter change and top it off. Me personally, I will probably change it every 150 hrs or so.

Since it's not scheduled in the manual it probably don't actually require changing.
I'd say that so long as the filter is changed as specified and the fluid topped off and matained within the operating level all should be fine.
I think for my own perdsonal satisification I will change it at either 300 400 or 500 hours.Haven't made up my mine which interval yet.
My BX 23 Specifices changing the tranny fluid every 300 hours.
A Cub Cadet should hold it's own with a Kubota on that right fellow CUB OWNERS!.;)

I change my transmission fluid after each time I mow my lawn (about 2 hours). $75 every week is a small price to pay to make sure the tranny lasts.

I also change the air in my tires once a week, whether they need it or not.

Don't you mean you change the nitrogen in your tires? I can't imagine running plain air in such a high speed machine...

How many of you change the tranny fluid in your car or pickup?:)

I've done it once in each of my current vehicles and will probably never do it again.

Of course they both have manual transmissions...
