guard for hydraulic filter on 2210

I have the cooling fan smashed on mine, the tranny filter is almost smashed in completely flat, and there is actually a piece of the aluminium tranny case that is busted out of the case. Luckily it doesn't leak, but its a pretty nasty looking break. I almost cried when i saw the case was cracked off.

I'll admit this tractor works its azz off and thats what happens when you work them hard. It'll get fixed, but likely break again.

I too would LOVE to buy a filter guard if anybody knows of someone who makes & sells them. I've replaced the plastic fan as well. It wasn't that hard, but time consuming & a p.i.t.a.

I feel like I should have an orange hat & all the hunting gear out here, on this post...with all the deers around I guess I'll stay in my orange tractor, I'll be safe in there.

Here a photo of a skid plate on a Kubota.

I've drop in, a few minutes ago, to check out a JD2305 & guess what...he had no blades left on his fan & a good dent on the filter.

Would this 2305 be the same layout as the 2210?

They want almost $300 for a piece of scrap metal that is bent to fit. I can make my own plate for $20 and a hour or 2 in labor.
Thats insane.
