Gun &ammo Shortage - Might Be Of Interest

The snopes link is from 2011. Then, we were all looking for ammo, because of the greatest gun sales team in the world.....Barack Obama and the NRA.
Propaganda perpetuated by this and many other right wing organizations, cause mass hording of guns and ammo. This is part of that propaganda, or the exposure of same.
Why it's posted now....I have no idea.
If the shortage is not over it is quickly on it's way there. The price of guns has dropped considerably and I suspect supply has met or exceeded demand. Even black rifles are down 40% from where they were 2 years ago.
I see ammo is on it's way there. The shelves are no longer empty.

Mr Brown, I don't think propaganda fits here, IMO people are very concerned about this country's direction and the outright blatant disregard for the constitution including the second amendment. Further the complete absence law and choosing which ones fit their policies is a bit discomforting to most level headed americans.

Given the current threat of ISIS, the recent firearm/ammo rush was just a drop in the bucket.

Call me paranoid, but given the news on public radio for the last couple of weeks the terrorists are here now... raised by us, trained overseas by islam extremists, then sent back here to do their fear-mongering.

I don't see that the ammo shortage is over. I am waiting for 14 months now for last years ammo order in 40 S&W and 2 months now on this years order in all calibers.

I won't shoot .45 ACP because I bought 1,000 rounds of Federal American Eagle for $12 a box. When I think about replacing it, I get out the .22. Then there's the 30.06 I bought for .22 cents a round.....

I waited for over a year to get my most recent rifle delivered - Ruger Mini30. I didn't bother to read the Snopes piece because that site sells a well documented left-wing agenda. Suffice it to say - when government tightens the screws on private ownership of firearms, the people have every reason to react and resist by every possible means the inception of tyranny.

Until you notice how impossible it is to replace the .22 ammo.

I was well stocked up when the shortage hit but with replacement costs as they are, I hate to shoot anything. Therefore, I have more than enough ammo and components to last the rest of my life ;-) Plus there is 500# of wheel weights that I'm temporarily using as tractor weights.
