Guys get greasy; girls get tattoos

I don't know how long this link will be good because the newspaper updates on a daily basis; however, here is an interesting story about a 18 year old girl who loves working on tractors. She loves them so much that she got a '66 John Deere 2510 High Crop tattooed on her back. Knowing how tattoos work, do you suppose her green Deere will eventually turn blue?

I agree. You cannot give blood for a year after getting a tattoo in almost all states (see Frequently Asked Questions about Blood Donation for details).

They had a contest on the radio one day of who had the worst tattoo. The guy who won had a 1999 Lime Green Honda Del Sol tatoo'ed on his back. Did it when he was 18 or so, said he was flipping through a car magazine and saw a pic of the car... thought it was just the coolest looking thing _ever_ so he took the pic to the tat shop. Needless to say he doesn't think it is so sweet now :laughing:

Got two tattooes on me...both manly, of course.

One is a fouled anchor (with "USN" across it) on my left bicep. Got that one in Hong Kong in 1972. Was in the Navy then, of course.
My other one is an Eagle's Head in front of an American Stars and Bars. That one is about 10-12 years old.
So, tats are cool...but permanent. Get something you can live with when you're 40something...

Like Jimmy Buffet's song, 'A Permanent Reminder of a Temporary Feeling'. I don't get it. Tats. Just as sexy as a nose ring, stud or other unmentionable body metal. I know all those young lasses feel safe knowing that turns me off.
