I'll say it, I am Blessed!! God's been looking after me. I keep him busy.
From what you described about the lay of the land your services are a natural. I think you have that angled solved. Atleast you know the need is there and a viable option. Here one thing that plays into the equasion [spell] is we have burn bans during peek building season. So dozers push up big piles and then they have to bring in tub grinders @1500 set up fee and an hourly rate. But the material they are dealing with we cannot. They are building around me as fast as they can just having a hard time getting builders to bite.
Most of my work comes from existing home owners, hunting clubs and a few large grading contractors. No realestate interest as of yet either.
That is a very good point about fire wood, I haven't thought of that. Around here fire wood is for sale everywhere. I had a customer call me about some clearing, after on site visit the trees were too big. They looked like giant Christmas trees. She called back a few days later and thanked me for my time of looking at the job anyway and I asked her what was the outcome. She stated a logger was to going to log it for free for the wood and it was 3-4 acres. Loggers sound alittle more aggressive down south. Robbie
