I recently bought a Harbor Freight small solar light ($18.00?). I have a shed that is about 200 ft. from my house. I set it up last weekend. I was going to aim it outwards to light the way to the shed, but decided to face it towards the door to light the lock. It was an easy install (it would have been even easier if my fingers worked as they did 20 years ago). I only used it twice but it seems to work well. I will update in a few weeks.

I tried the “I’ll leave the flashlight by the front door” idea but have never managed to get it back to the house for the next time!!
