There's 195 commerical grade beef cattle grazing down there, the broad cows weigh about 1,000 pounds, as well as plenty of 600 pound gators.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

With the curvature shown in that photo, it really makes the Earth look quite small. What a thrill to be that high! I've got to try it some day.

Normally we don't cruise much over 5,000 feet (it's usually cold enough at that altitude) and often stay much lower than that with the philosophy being if something goes wrong, we don't want to have much time to think about it.... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Beautiful pix of the cranes. My favorite is the one with the cow just out of focus in the background, looks like it should be in a magazine somewhere.

What is your camera set-up, if you don't mind me asking?

I used a Nikon D-70 Digital SLR with 8 megapixels and a 80-400mm Nikon lens on a tripod for some shots, others were with a 16mm fisheye lens.
