What are you referring to as a ''flush valve"? I've never heard that term used on JD tractor closed center hyd system. Next I suggest to disconnect & cap power steering supply line & cap fitting to determine if hyd's operate better with power steering not operating.

Bought a 2130 John deere ,after starting tractor thepower steering nor hydraulics will work until you start turning the steering from left to right a couple of times power steering starts working then the front end loader will also start working?

I'm 'grasping at straws' here, but does this include raising/lowering the 3PH (3 point hitch)?

Yes it does include the 3 point hitch.

Well it's a valve used to bleed foreign material from the pump. I'll let you know what happens when I cap the power steering supply line,may not be until next week.

OK, so it's the entire hydraulic system that needs to be 'nudged' to start working. And then the hydraulic system works for everything... so the 'common' fault is something that activates the hydraulic pump.

That's why I asked about the 3PH... you only mentioned that the power steering and the FEL wouldn't work until you'd moved the steering wheel back'n'forth a few times.

JD 2130 normally has no relay associated with it's closed center hyd system. Frt hyd pump has a stroke control valve that when seated correctly allows hyd pump to create pressure.
